Martin Tevaseu is a Wanted Man

Martin Tevaseu is just a Freshman at Santa Rosa Junior College. However, as a qualifier right out of High School, he can transfer to a Div. 1 school for his Sophomore season... and that appears to be exactly where the big Defensive Tackle is headed.

Scout.com's Kyle Phillips spoke with Santa Rosa Junior College Coach Keith Simons by phone earlier today to get the latest on DT Martin Tevaseu.

Coach Simons confirmed that Martin has already visited Boise State, and that the Broncos have offered. Martin visited Boise State December 16th, right during the middle of the coaching change for the Broncos. Despite the upheaval, Boise State appears to still be right in the thick of the hunt for the big Freshman.

Coach Simons then went on to state that Martin will be visiting Colorado this next week. Colorado is coached by Former Boise State Head Coach Dan Hawkins, who retained much of his Boise Staff in his recent move, and who is targeting many of the same athletes he recruited while at Boise State..

Shortly after he returns from Colorado, Martin will take one last trip, this time to the Grand Canyon State to visit another former Boise State Head Coach, Dirk Koetter and his Arizona State Sun Devils.

Coach Simons reported that besides Boise State, Arizona State has already offered a scholarship.

When asked if Martin had expressed a favorite, Coach Simons explained that Martin's mind, "is spinning right now. We just advised him to take all his visits so he has something to compare."

Sound advice from an experienced Coach, and it appears that that is exactly what Martin will do. He has narrowed his list down to those 3 schools, but a decision will wait until sometime after he returns from Arizona.

BroncoCountry will try to touch base with Martin after his final trip to see where he decides to go.
