Boise State's Floor Show

Boise State's gymnasts put together a more solid floor routine last night, and the results enabled the Broncos to improve their overall score as Boise State downed Cal-Davis last night.

Boise State's gymnastics team improved their seasonal best to 190.325 in a dual win over UC-Davis last night in the annual "Beauty and the Beast" event at Taco Bell Arena in front of over 2,500 fans. Cal-Davis scored 185.2 last night.

Lindsay Ward regained her form to lead a Bronco sweep of the all-around competition with a total score of 38.825. Senior Katie Dinsmore finished second with a 37.125 and Kristin Aldrich took third with 37.075 points. Ward captured the high score in both beam (9.85) and bars (9.8). Taylor Jacob and Kea Cuaresma tied for the best floor routine with 9.7's, while Shaniece Craft and Kea Cuaresma of Boise State and Davis' Carrie Jujan tied for first in the vault, all with 9.75's.

The Broncos and Aggies will face each other next week in Davis. Congratulations to the Bronco women!
