Broncos Victorious in Taco Bell Arena 82-71

Six Boise State players scored in double figures and Kareem Lloyd grabbed 10 rebounds as the Broncos downed Cal State Northridge 82-71 last night at Taco Bell Arena.

Eric Lane led all scorers with 21 points and six assists, while Kenny Wilson hit for 13 points making 8-of-8 from the free throw line. Coby Karl had 12 points, his 18th straight game in double figures, and a game-high seven assists, while Seth Robinson and Tyler Tiedeman scored 11 points each and Tez Banks had 10 points. Karl, Boise State's leading scorer, is in the midst of a turnover funk, adding another seven last nigiht.

The Broncos were on fire from long-distance, hitting 8-of-16 shots from 3-point range and were 24-of-30 (80 percent) from the free throw line. Lane finished 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, while Karl was 4-of-7 from the field, Banks was 5-of-7 and Robinson was 4-of-5.

Northridge (10-13) was led by Mike Efevberha's 15 points.

The Broncos resume Western Athletic Conference play by hosting Utah State Thursday night.
