Utah Replaces BGSU on Bronco Schedule

The Boise State Athletic Department released news today that Bowling Green has been replaced on the Bronco's 2006 Football Schedule by the University of Utah, in the first of a 4-year series.

Boise State was scheduled to make a visit to Bowling Green after having hosted the Falcons on the Blue Turf in 2005, however news came down today that the University of Utah will take the Falcon's place in 2006.

According to the official release, an agreement was reached with the University of Utah for not only this game in 2006, but for three other seasons to complete a four-year home-and-home series. The University of Utah will replace Bowling Green State immediately on the 2006 schedule, meaning that on Sept. 30 the Broncos will play at Utah in Salt Lake City and not at Bowling Green State.

It's been four years since the Bronco's last played the Utes. Now the Broncos will play Utah in Boise in 2011. In 2012, the Broncos will play the Utes in Salt Lake City, and the last year of the agreement will be 2013.

The Broncos and Bowling Green will play in Bowling Green, Ohio, in 2007 and in Boise in 2008.
