A Celebration Fit For A Champion

A full slate of activites are on tap to celebrate the first Boise State undefeated season in 48 years and the Broncos' amazing Fiesta Bowl victory. Come welcome the hometown heroes back to Boise!

The Fiesta Bowl champion Boise State Broncos will be honored this Saturday with several activities in Boise.  A parade, a "Statehouse Salute", an autograph session, and a ceremony celebrating the Broncos' Fiesta Bowl win give fans plenty of options to personally congratulate the Bronco players and coaches.

The parade begins on campus at 3 Saturday afternoon that will go down Capitol Boulevard and end at the Idaho State Capitol building.  The Broncos will be saluted by dignitaries including Idaho Governor Butch Otter and Boise Mayor Dave Bieter.  University President Bob Kustra will address the team and the crowd, and Bronco Head Coach Chris Petersen is also expected to speak.

The Bronco players will also be on hand to sign autographs beginning at 5 p.m. in the Caven-Williams Sports Complex adjacent to Bronco Stadium.  The Fiesta Bowl trophy will be on display as well.

Finally, the extravaganza will include a ceremony at halftime of the Boise State-Hawai'i basketball game that will include the presentation of the Fiesta Bowl trophy to the Broncos.  A postgame autograph session featuring the Bronco players is also scheduled.

Come out and thank the Broncos for the most memorable of seasons!
