Boise State-Idaho Tonight In Taco Bell Arena

Boise State has proven they can play with the best in the WAC. Tonight, the Lady Broncos will have to take care of business in a game with upstart Idaho. The Moscow school is coming off their first league win of the season and would love to derail the Bronco express.

The surging Boise State women's basketball team hosts Idaho tonight in the 58th meeting between the two schools.  Coach Gordy Presnell's team looks to remain unbeaten in Western Athletic Conference play while the Moscow school is coming off their first league win, an 83-74 win over New Mexico State.

This is the second game in a four-game homestand for the Lady Broncos, as Boise State upended Utah State 80-38 Wednesday night.  Coach Mike Divilbiss' Idaho team is 4-14 overall and 1-6 in the WAC.

The Vandals are led by WAC scoring leader Katie Madison, who is averaging 19.5 points a game along with 9.3 rebounds.  Liz Witte contributes 11.6 points and Sara Dennehy averages 11.4.  Jessica Summers is also a force on the boards, pulling down 7.7 caroms a contest.

Idaho is averaging 63.2 points a game, but the defense has not been able to stop opponents.  The Vandal women are last in the WAC in scoring defense, allowing 76.1 points per game.  One of the strengths of the team is their three-point shooting, as they lead the conference with 32.1% shooting.

Tonight's game between the Broncos and Vandals tips off at 7 in Taco Bell Arena.
