The Boise State wrestling team concluded a red-hot day for Boise State student athletes with two Pac-10 victories in Oregon. First, the Broncos dominated Portland State 53-0 then drove down Interstate 5 to defeat Oregon 27-10.

downed Oregon 27-10 last night in Eugene after blitzing PortlandState 53-0 yesterday afternoon in OregonCity.Those two league
victories follow a hard-fought 17-15 win over Cal State-Fullerton Friday night
in Boise.BoiseState is now 8-2 in dual matches this season, with a sparkling
4-1 record in Pac-10 action.
The Broncos scored four pins and one forfeit en route to
the rout over PortlandState.Levi Jones, Johnny
Nunez, Cam Jones and Andy Patrick all pined their opponents while Cory Fish was
awarded the win at 125 pounds when his opponent could not wrestle.
BoiseState also received five team points from Tyler Sherfey
when he posted a technical fall over Steven Dailey (20-4) at 157 pounds.
Nunez recorded his second pin of the day when he took it to
Jake McCoy of Oregon at the mark of
his match at 165 pounds.Sherfey, Luke
Smith, Nate Lee, Ryan Allen and Patrick also scored their second wins of the
day to lead the Bronco charge.
The road trip concludes today as the Broncos challenge 19th
ranked OregonState in Corvallis.The match will be
a good test to see exactly where BoiseState ranks in the nation.
