Three Preseason Bronco All-Americans

The recognition continues to pour in for Boise State. Three members of the 2007 Bronco football team have been named by for All-America recognition.

Boise State has placed three players on a preseason All-America team for the first time in school history.  Offensive tackle Ryan Clady, running back Ian Johnson and safety Marty Tadman were all named to the All-America team by  Clady is a second-team selection on the squad, with Johnson making the third team and Tadman an honorable mention selection.

Clady helped the Broncos finish second in the nation in scoring last year and was a second-team All-American last year.  Johnson led the nation in touchdowns last year with 25 and was second in rushing, averaging 142.83 yards per game.  Johnson made two All-America teams and was a second-team All-American on the Sporting News team and third-team for the Associated Press. 

Tadman enters his senior year as the active national leader in career interceptions with 12 and interception returns for touchdowns with three.  Tadman was the defensive Most Valuable Player of the 2007 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl with two interceptions, one of them for a touchdown. 

The Broncos open their 2007 season against Weber State in Bronco Stadium.
