Boise State's Forest Braden came through once again for Coach Mike Maynard.  Braden won the 10,000-meter run last night at the Western Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships in Fresno, California.  It was the sixth WAC title of Braden's distinguished career at Boise State.

Braden ran the distance in 31 minutes, 11.66 seconds, nearly a full 20 seconds better than his closest competitor, Seth Wold of Utah State.  Teammate Brandon Christoffersen also scored points for the Bronco team with a sixth-place finish.  Christoffersen covered the distance in 25:22.54.

The Bronco team is down a bit in its quest to repeat as WAC Champions and will need to take care of business in this, the final day of the Championships.
