Walk-on Wyomings..

Boise State fans have already heard of the Bronco's success in Wyoming, landing Dave and Matt Wilson, a pair of athletic 6'1 213lb brothers walking on the Bronco squad as linebackers, but now it appears the Broncos may have landed another Wyoming Prep-Star walkon...

BroncoCountry has recently learned that Austin Baker, (6'1 220lb RB/LB) from Dubois HS in Dubois Wyoming, will be walking on the Boise State football team once school beings later this month.

Baker, a 3-sport star while a prep athlete, was one of four students in the Bighorn Basin named a winner of the Wilford Mower Award, presented annually to the top athletes in their region.

In the Wyoming North/South Shrine Game, (which incompasses all school leagues and divisions in the State), Baker ran for an impressive 69 yards on 13 carries, including an 11 yard jaunt.

For his efforts on the field, Austin was named to the Wyoming Coaches Association's 2006 1-A All-State Team. The same list that Both the Wilson Brothers were named to as well, although in the 4-A division.

In track and field, Baker helped man a leg of the 4x100 team that took 2nd in their State meet.
