Boise State Collects 100th Division I-A Win

Boise State bolted out of the gate to win its 100th game as a Division I-A football school with a 56-7 win over Weber State last night. The Broncos have the 11th best record in the nation since joining I-A in 1996.

Boise State took care of business in its season opener last night, scoring on their first seven possessions en route to a 56-7 win over Weber State in Bronco Stadium.  With the win, the Broncos earned their 100th win as a Division I-A school.  Boise State became the 11th school since that time to notch 100 wins; the Broncos are 100-38.

Ohio State has the best record since 1996, posting 108 wins against 29 losses.  Florida State is a close second with a record of 107-31, followed by Michigan at 104-32.

The Broncos head to Seattle next weekend for a key tilt with Washington.
