BoiseState overcame a poor-shooting first
half and a 28-19 disadvantage on the boards to come back from a 27-26
deficit.Presnell's halftime speech
inspired the Broncos, as they went on a 7-0 run following the break to take a
33-27 lead.Tech was able to tie the
game at 39 with remaining but could never retake the lead.The Lady Broncos went on a tear to take a

percent (9-25) from three-point territory and connected on 13-16 free throws
(81.3%) to keep the Bulldogs at bay.BoiseState controlled the boards in the
second half and outrebounded the WAC's top rebounding team 45-44 at the
end.Coach Presnell's team also took
excellent care of the basketball, committing just 13 turnovers themselves and
dominating the Lady Techsters 26-12 in points off turnovers.
Thompson also had seven
rebounds, six assists and five steals for BoiseState.Jackie Lee had 13 points while Jamia Malone
had 11 points and three steals.Tasha Harris saw her 25-game streak of double-digit scoring end with nine points, but
she grabbed eight rebounds and had five assists and three steals for the Broncos.
JoKierra Sneed had 19
points and 15 rebounds to lead the Lady Bulldogs, who fell to 4-5 in the WAC
and 10-12 overall.
BoiseState advanced to 8-2 in conference
