The Boise State Lady Broncos were rewarded for their great season with a berth in the Women's National Invitation Basketball Tournament. Boise State takes on Idaho State this Thursday in Taco Bell Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and tickets range from $6-7.

Conference Tournament to host New MexicoState, will be playing in their
fifth postseason tournament.
The ironic matchup pits two instate rivals that have already
played this season.BoiseState downed the Lady Bengals 78-74
in Pocatello in December and have
won four straight over ISU.BoiseState leads the all-time series
42-18 and has outpointed IdahoState
22-7 in Boise.
This will be the second WNIT for BoiseState, as the Broncos were defeated
by LSU on the Tigers' home court back in 1998.In 1975, BoiseState
(21-3) was in the AIAW National Tournament as the District 8 Tournament
Champion.They lost to Wayland Baptist
93-37 and to KansasState
65-37.In 1994, the Broncos (23-6)
received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.They traveled to Seattle
to play host Washington and lost 89-61.Last year, BoiseState
received an automatic NCAA berth as WAC Champions and fell to nationally-ranked
George Washington 76-67.
