Is Pascarella Ready To Be A Bronco?

Centennial HS OL Gavin Pascarella (Corona, CA) is at the top of the recruiting board for Boise State. The coaches want at least one OL recruit in this class and Pascarella could be just the guy they are looking for. He recently setup an official visit to Boise State. He spoke to about his interest in Boise State and his senior season to date.

Centennial HS OL Gavin Pascarella (Corona, CA) is perhaps the top OL prospect on the recruiting board for Boise State. "Boise State is recruiting me the hardest right now," he said.

The standout OL prospect just recently set an official visit date and he'll be in Boise in early November. "I'll be in Boise for the Utah State game. I'm really looking forward to it," he said.

Gavin's interest in Boise State has continued to grow throughout the recruiting process. "I think Boise State would be a real good fit for me," he said. "It's appealing to me." His thoughts on the football program? "The opinion I got of Boise State is that they are one of the best kept secrets in college football," he said.

Pascarella (6'5, 260) is keeping in close contact with Coach (Viliami) Tuivai. "I talk to Coach Tuivai about once a week," he said. "We also email each other back and forth a good bit." Coach Tuivai has certainly made a positive impact on Gavin. "He's a real nice guy," he said. "He's a coach that I could see myself playing for," he added.

Boise State and Centennial both have one big thing in common. They are both undefeated. "We're 7-0," he said. "We played Riverside Poly last week and won 56-6." The game against Riverside Poly had an interesting storyline added to it as Pascarella found himself playing center. "I played center a bit because we were having some trouble up the middle," he said. "I'm a perfectionist. I was thinking too much out there because I was worried about the snap."

Pascarella has had a near perfect season in terms of penalties and that's a very important statistic when it comes to OL recruits. "I've had a couple holding penalties this season," he said. "No false start penalties."

Riverside North HS is up next for Pascarella and his teammates. "They are 4-3," he said. "They are considered one of the tougher teams in our league. We have to play fast and physical." The team hasn't shown discipline in those big victories this season. "We're blowing out teams pretty sloppily," he said. "We haven't felt good about our wins because they aren't solid. Too many penalties at the end of the game," he added.

Pascarella is a complete student-athlete. He'll work towards a Master's Degree at Boise State if he chooses the Broncos. "I want to go for a Master's Degree if I choose Boise State," he said. "A Master's Degree from Boise State would be great for me."

Will Pascarella be a Bronco? It'll be interesting to see just how his recruitment unfolds. will continue to have updates on Gavin Pascarella throughout his senior season.
