Bronco Men Lead Nation in Conference Titles

Boise State continues to be amongst the most successful schools in the nation. With two conference championships coming in rapid succession, the Broncos now lead all major college men with three conference titles.

Following two conference championships in just two days, the Boise State men now lead the nation in conference titles with three.  The Broncos won the Western Athletic Conference championship in football last fall, captured the WAC Indoor Track & Field title on Saturday and then won the Pac-10 Conference Wrestling Championship Monday.

Texas has two Big 12 men's titles (swimming and men's indoor track), BYU has two men's Mountain West championships in cross country and indoor track  No other major college in the country has more than one men's title.

Boise State is also in the thick of the race for total conference championships with three.  BYU (adding women's soccer and swimming) and Texas (adding women's volleyball and women's swimming) each have four while Boise State, Minnesota (women's cross country and men's and women's indoor track), Notre Dame (men's swimming, women's swimming and women's soccer), Minnesota, Florida State (women's cross country and men's and women's indoor track) and Florida (football, women's volleyball and women's swimming) all have three.
