Tulare Union HS ATH Edward Dillihunt (Tulare, CA) is a solid 2010 prospect that is hearing from Boise State. Dillihunt is a versatile athlete that lives near the Fresno State campus. What does he think of Boise State? He spoke to BroncoCountry.com about his interest in Boise State and his 2008 season.

Tulare Union HS ATH Edward Dillihunt (Tulare, CA) is a solid 2010 prospect and he's hearing from two schools in particular. "Boise State and Fresno State have been sending me a lot of mail," he said. "I'd say Boise State is recruiting me the hardest at this time."

Dillihunt (5'10, 185, 4.51) will be taking an unofficial visit to the Boise State campus in early April. "I'll be taking an unofficial visit on the 6th," he said. "We have some friends out in Soda Springs," he added.

The blue field will take center stage on Edward's visit to Boise. "I think it's (the blue field) awesome," he said. "When my mom told me we were going on a visit all I wanted to do was touch that field."

Distance will not be a factor in Dillihunt's decision and the Broncos are on equal footing with Fresno State. "I was timid at first about the distance," he said. "I decided that I want to keep my options open. What benefits me most is where I'll go."

The versatile California ATH can play numerous positions all over the field. "I'd say I'm best at WR," he said. "I play wherever I'm needed. I'll be playing QB out of the pistol next season," he added.

Motivation is a key to performance and that's exactly what Edward bring to the field. "I bring motivation," he said. "I set the tone. Someone has to set it first."

Dillihunt and his teammates had an outstanding 2008 campaign as they went 13-0. The only "downside" to the season was the fact that the state playoff system in California operates like a BCS system and Tulare Union didn't get picked. "We went 13-0 and didn't get a bid for state. We just won the Central Valley."

The goal for Dillihunt next season is to simply continue winning. "I want to go 13-0 next season," he said. "I'm going to go all out. It's my senior year," he added.

Last season, Dillihunt had eleven total TDs with two coming on punt returns. He had 46 receptions for 607 yards at WR.
