Prosser HS WR Kirby Moore (Prosser, WA) signed with Boise State back in February and the standout WR is one of the most highly anticipated recruits in this year's class.

Basketball season just recently ended and Moore now is looking toward the future. "It went alright," he said in reference to basketball season. "We got eliminated in the districts. It was good to get out there and compete."

Moore will be in Boise this week to watch his future teammates in action. "I'm coming over for spring practice," he said. "I'll be there from Wednesday through the weekend."

Kirby is ready to get a head start on his Bronco career. "I think it'll be a good experience," he said. "Mostly for the drills and meetings. Not so much on the field. I'll be looking at the papers and going over routes and motions," he added.

Having a brother as the starting QB certainly has its advantages. "I have the drills and the formations on DVD," he said. "I've been looking at those. I'm interested in seeing how the receivers are looking."

Kirby's arrival date has been recently moved up just a bit. "I'm kind of moving it up a bit," he said. "I think June 15th is the day. I want to be there for the conditioning and Coach Pete thinks it would be best."

Could Moore play as a freshman? "I'm just going to go in there and see what happens. My goal is to play."

The future Bronco receiver is just as excited about the upcoming season as Bronco fans seems to be. "I'm definitely excited about the season," he said. "We only have five seniors but there is still a lot of experience. It's going to be a great year."

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Kirby Moore as he prepares for his arrival in Boise.
