Yakima LB Likes Boise State

Eisenhower HS LB Seth Kline (Yakima, WA) has seen his stock continue to grow over the past few weeks. Kline has already taken an unofficial visit to Washington and he's looking forward to making yet another trip to Boise over the summer. He spoke to BroncoCountry.com about his HS career and his recruitment thus far.

Eisenhower HS LB Seth Kline (Yakima, WA) has seen his stock continue to grow over the past few weeks. He took an unofficial visit to Washington in early March and came away impressed. "It was real cool," he said. "I got to meet all the coaches and see the facilities. I also went to the UW-Wazzu basketball game."

The new coaching staff at Washington made quite an impression on Kline. "Meeting Coach Sarkisian and Coach Holt was cool," he said. "Coach Holt is really funny and Coach Sarkisian is laid back and the kind of guy I'd like to play for," he added.

Kline (6'2, 235) has received a handful of letters from Boise State. "I've only received letters from Boise State so far," he said. "My coach had a meeting with their coaches on Thursday and I think he gave them a highlight of me."

Seth attended the Boise State Football Camp last season and plans on attending this summer as well. "They've been recruiting me since the football camp last summer," he said. "Our team will be going to the camp at Boise State again this summer."

Kline and his teammates haven't been able to get over the hump and make it to the state playoffs. He hopes to change that this upcoming season. "We were 6-4 last season. We haven't gone to the playoffs throughout my three years. I just want to make the playoffs and lead my team."

The standout LB brings intensity to the gridiron. "I bring a lot of intensity," he said. "A lot of opposing coaches think I'm a really good blitzer. I also bring a lot of speed to the field and I'm smart."

In 2007, Kline had 12 sacks and 76 tackles in an excellent sophomore season. "I'm not exactly sure what my stats were last season. I think I had less sacks but more tackles."

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Seth Kline.
