Bothell HS TE Michael Hartvigson (Bothell, WA) currently has three offers with the latest being from Boise State. The Bronco coaches have made a solid first impression with Hartvigson. "Coach (Justin) Wilcox offered me over the phone," he said. "I haven't met him but he seems like a nice man from talking to him on the phone and emailing."

Michael currently holds three offers. "I have offers from Washington State, Boise State, and Oregon State," he said. "All three are at the top right now. I have no leader," he added.

The coaching clinics held at Boise State have helped the program build relationships with coaches and provide a valuable asset for recruiting. "My whole staff likes Boise State a lot. About five of our coaches went to the clinic in Boise."

The TE position has been a cornerstone in the Bronco offense and that hasn't gone unnoticed by recruits. "They use the TE a lot in their offense and they are a great program," he said. "They are always in the top twenty. I would probably say Coach (Chris) Petersen does a great job of developing players."

Hartvigson (6'6, 240, 4.85) would like to take a visit to Boise. "My coach said it's an awesome campus. They love using the TE a lot and that's good. I'm pretty excited about that. There's a chance that I might slide down there with my parents."

The Bothell Cougars are one of the top programs in the state of Washington. The Cougars finished with a stellar 9-3 record last season. "We were in the state championship two years in a row prior to last season," he said. "We made it to the quarterfinals last season," he added.

Spring practice begins on June 1st for the Cougars and Hartvigson is looking forward to getting back out on the field. "I just want to learn the offense even more," he said. "I want to work with our QB and work on my routes."

Michael wants to finish his senior season with a state championship. "I'd like to win a state title most of all," he said. "My other goals would be to just find the right school and be a good team player. The team comes first," Hartvigson added.

Last season, Hartvigson racked up a total of 100 yards receiving and 4 TDs. He also had 40 tackles and 6 sacks at DE.
