Vista HS WR Troy Ware (Vista, CA) is hoping to receive his first offer soon as numerous programs continue to show interest in the talented WR. Could Boise State be his first offer? He spoke to BroncoCountry.com about his interest in Boise State and his recruitment thus far.

Vista HS WR Troy Ware (Vista, CA) is hoping to receive his first offer soon as numerous programs continue to show interest in the talented WR. Boise State is one of three schools that has shown the most interest. "Boise State, Arizona State, and Cal have shown the most interest," he said. "My top five are Arizona State, Cal, UCLA, USC, and Boise State," he added.

Ware (6'2, 170, 4.55) sent some film to the Bronco coaching staff and the interest from Boise State has continued to rise since that time. "Coach (Pete) Kwiatkowski told me he likes the drills I was doing with my hands. Coach K is a good guy. I talk to them two or three times a month."

Troy currently has plans to attend a few different camps this summer. "I'm going to the Cal camp, USC camp, and UCLA camp," he said. "I'd like to go to ASU too."

The school Ware chooses will consist of a few qualities. "I want a good college atmosphere. I also want good coaches and a tradition of winning."

Troy's father, Tim, was a standout WR at USC. "He played WR at USC from 81-85," he said. "He was more of a possession WR," he added. USC has shown interest as well. "Coach (John) Morton came to watch our drills. USC, UCLA, Air Force, Northern Colorado, and SDSU have come to visit me."

Last season, Vista HS finished with a 7-5 record. Ware and his teammates hope to improve this season. "I want to be the leading receiver in our league and dominate," he said. "I want to go to state." Troy finished the 2008 season with 28 catches for 628 yards and 6 TDs.
