Nathaniel Narbonne HS CB Bryan Douglas (Harbor City, CA) recently became the fourth Bronco commitment for the 2010 recruiting class. The standout CB made his decision quickly following a recent visit to Boise. "I'm 100% committed," he said. "My dad wanted me to commit when I first got the offer. He loves Boise as much as I do," he added.

The family atmosphere and comfort level with the Bronco coaching staff is a constant theme when it comes to each new Boise State commit. That level of comfort sealed the deal for Douglas. "What made me choose Boise State was definitely the coaches," he said. "Me and Coach (Marcel) Yates clicked right away. He's the real deal. He tells you what you need to hear and not just what you want to hear. He told me the real deal about recruiting and no other recruiter has ever tried to get this close to me. He'll basically be like my dad for the next five years."

Defensive Backs Coach Marcel Yates has been a hot topic of conversation recently among Bronco fans. He continues to bring in one talented recruit after another and some believe the level of talent at DB could be the highest ever in the program. Coach Yates was the first to take notice of Douglas and the future Bronco is thrilled to have the opportunity to play at Boise State. "That meant a lot to me that he was first to notice me," he said. "All the other coaches were just getting my info. Coach Yates came along and told my dad that they want me. No beating around the bush. They didn't need anymore film. They had already seen enough. I love that and they took a risk on me after a lot of schools said I was too little."

Douglas (5'11, 170, 4.4) and his dad recently took an unofficial visit to Boise and they were able to get a solid look inside the Bronco football program. "Boise was unbelievable," he said. "We got there that night and then met Coach Yates in the morning. We went straight to it in the morning and saw the campus. I was speechless when I saw the blue field. Looking down on the field from the press box gave me chills." One of the biggest factors in Bryan's decision was the fact that the players made him feel welcome. "The players are so cool," Douglas said. "They didn't act like they were better than me because I was in HS. They were asking a lot of questions and wanted to hangout with me," he added.

Boise State CB Kyle Wilson is on nearly every Pre-Season All-American list for the upcoming 2009 season. Douglas enjoyed meeting the outstanding Bronco CB. "Kyle Wilson is a cool dude," he said. "He was cool about everything. He asked me if I was coming and I said definitely. I just wish he'd be there when I was there so I could learn from the best."

The 2009 season is fast approaching and Douglas is preparing to lead his team to yet another great season. "I'm just lifting weights everyday and going to practice," he said. "I'm doing extra running to stay in shape. I'm going both ways this year. Got to build endurance and keep working," Douglas added. Bryan will play CB, WR, and also return kicks in the upcoming season.

Last season, Douglas racked up 40 tackles to go along with 11 pass breakups and 3 INTs. will continue to have updates on Bryan Douglas.
