Nathaniel Narbonne HS CB Bryan Douglas (Harbor City, CA) recently took his official visit to Boise State as he was in attendance for the thrilling victory last Thursday over Oregon. The visit only solidified his decision to become a Bronco. "The crowd impressed me most," Douglas said. "I loved everything. The atmosphere was crazy up there. I didn't have a voice the next day," he added.

Douglas arrived with his parents on Wednesday and one of the moments that stood out most was the meeting with (Head Coach) Chris Petersen (DBs Coach) Marcel Yates. "The meeting was great," he said. "They are so down-to-earth. You'd think it would be different since they run a big time program."

Bryan (5'11, 170, 4.4) felt an instant connection with the Bronco head man. "Coach Pete is just cool," he said. "Man, you could probably tell him your life story and he'd listen to every single word. He's indescribable."

The future Bronco CB feels having his position coach as his recruiter will only help in the future. "Coach Yates is just real and he doesn't sugarcoat nothing," Douglas stated. "It's good having my recruiter as my position coach. He didn't have to go convince anyone that I could play."

The Boise State staff is one of the best when it comes to impressing the parents of potential recruits. Bryan's parents are thrilled with their son's commitment. "They loved Coach Pete and they loved Coach Yates," he said. "They are just as excited as me. We spent a lot of money in that Boise State store on hoodies, shirts and footballs."

Douglas met a future teammate on the field following the victory against Oregon. "I met Kyle Sosnowski," he said. "We met at the end of the game and introduced ourselves. He seems like a pretty cool guy," he added.

The standout CB can now focus on his senior season and the upcoming kickoff to the 2009 season. "I'm definitely pumped for the first game," he said. "I want to end my senior season right and take us as far as possible. We expect to win and beat everybody. We're looking to have a season like last year and go back to the championship."
