Three New Offers For Montana ATH

Capital HS ATH Matt Miller (Helena, MT) is likely the top prospect in the State of Montana for the 2010 recruiting class. The standout ATH just recently picked up three new offers and he no longer has a top five at this point. He spoke to BroncoCountry.com about his three new offers and his interest in Boise State.

Capital HS ATH Matt Miller (Helena, MT) is likely the top prospect in the State of Montana for the 2010 recruiting class. The standout ATH just recently picked up three new offers and he no longer has a top five at this point. "I just got offers from Oregon State, Arkansas, and North Carolina," he said. "It's back to even right now. I'm not going to rush anything. I'll hopefully have a top three or five in a month or so," he added.

Boise State was one of the first schools to extend an offer to Miller and they continue to show a lot of interest in the highly recruited ATH. "I talked to Coach (Brent) Pease," last week," he said. "It was pretty good. We talked about my game and their win over Oregon. We were both in a pretty good mood since we were both coming off wins."

The Broncos hope the victory over Oregon can also help with gaining some momentum in recruiting. Miller took notice of the big win for Boise State. "I was very impressed with how Boise State played," he stated. "They aren't real known for defense and everyone thought it would be high scoring. They sent a message to the nation that they were there to play."

Boise State has risen through the rankings and are now back in the top ten. Matt would like to be a part of a winning program. "I was impressed with Boise State even before the season started," Miller said. "What's going on now makes them go up higher on my list. You get the feeling that you'd like to be part of a program like that."

The Helena Bruins keep on rolling along as they have won the state championship in each of Miller's first three seasons. The challenge for them is to remain focused on their goal. "We're 3-0," he said. "We have our first big test this weekend against Billings Skyview. They are a hard nosed football team and really well coached. It'll be a true battle for us," he added.

Miller (6'4, 210, 4.55) has been all over the field in the first three games of the 2009 season. He has been scoring TDs at an amazing rate. "I have 8 TDs, about 300 receiving yards, and 200 rushing yards," he said. "Our defense is #1 in the state right now. Teams don't throw to my side very often."

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Matt Miller throughout his senior season.
