Seale (5'9, 185, 4.45) holds offers from schools like Stanford, Cal, Colorado, and Arizona. He'd like to add an offer from Boise State to his list and he has taken notice of the high-flying Bronco offense. "It's a wide open offense," he said. "They run the ball a lot and pass. You never know what they will do. I don't want to be a part of a one-dimensional offense."
The Bronco running game has been rolling right along so far in the 2009 season. Seale compares himself to perhaps the greatest RB in Boise State history. "Ian Johnson was a really great RB and I feel I'm similar to him. I can run with speed and power."
Education is the most important aspect for Seale because he knows one can never count on a career in football. "I'm more worried about schooling than football," he stated. "Obviously, football won't be my full life." Ricky is an excellent student in the classroom as he is currently taking three AP classes.
Escondido is consistently one of the top programs in the State of California. "We're 3-0," Seale said. "We've been blowing them out of the water so far. I have a lot of TDs. I don't really know how many yards." Seale and his teammates have a BYE this week and will take on Rancheo Bernardo next Friday. "They are 2-0. It should be a pretty good game. We have to have a really great defensive game and do what we do on offense."
The goal for Seale in 2009 is to simply win a championship. "We want to win a CIF championship and that's my goal right now. Just win the games this year."
