Boise State Has The #1 Winning % Of All-Time

Boise State has gone over the 75-percent barrier in winning percentage, displacing Michigan as the #1 college football team. Since being accepted as a major college team in 1996, the Broncos are 127-42.

Three years ago, Boise State became the 10th school in major college football history to top the 70-percent winning percentage barrier.

The Broncos certainly have not rested on their laurels.

With its convincing 54-9 win on the islands over Hawai'i Saturday, Boise State has now eclipsed a 75% winning percentage, which is the best of all schools that have played major college football since 1869.

Michigan had held the number one spot for years, but a 3-9 season last year and a 5-3 record this season has resulted in the Wolverines falling to #2.  Michigan has a 73.906% record.  Notre Dame is third (73.562%), followed by Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama, USC, Nebraska and Tennessee.
