Miller Sets Three Official Visits

Capital HS ATH Matt Miller (Helena, MT) has set three official visit dates and he's looking forward to seeing what those programs have to offer. Capital is inching closer to yet another state championship and Miller has performed well all season as the Bruins team leader. He spoke to about the three trips he is planning to take, his interest in Boise State, and his senior season.

Capital HS ATH Matt Miller (Helena, MT) has set three official visit dates and he'll looking forward to seeing what all three programs have to offer. "We're going to take official visits to Arizona State, Oregon State, and Boise State," he said. "We'll visit Oregon State this weekend, Arizona State for Thanksgiving, and Boise State on December 5th," he added. It's also worth noting that Miller stated the other schools recruiting him are not out of the picture. "I have about six schools in mind. It doesn't mean the other three schools are out of the picture."

Boise State has targeted Miller (6'4, 210, 4.55) as one of their top recruits in this class. The low amount of scholarships for the 2010 class hasn't stopped the Broncos from recruiting the outstanding ATH. "I talk to Coach (Brent) Pease once a week," he stated. "We're just building a relationship with each other. We talk about Boise State, football, and schemes. He says the possibilities are endless with me in their offense."

The Broncos has one of the top offenses in college football and Miller could see himself playing on The Blue. "Every time you watch them you are wowed by the offense and the points," he said. "Kellen Moore is a great QB and it also intrigues me that (Austin) Pettis and (Titus) Young are both juniors. Their play speaks for itself," Miller added.

The Capital Bruins are on a quest for yet another state championship. Miller is looking for the grand slam this season as he hopes to add a fourth state championship ring. "We're 9-0," he said. "We have our final regular season game this Thursday against Sentinel." Matt has been the MVP for the Bruins in 2009 as he plays all over the field for the defending state champions. "I have one interception on defense. There aren't many that are thrown my way." On offense, Miller has racked up 14 rushing TDs, 3 TD receptions, and he also added a punt return for a TD.

In the end, the college decision for Miller will be all about comfort level. "I'm going to take it as it comes," he said. "Hopefully, it'll be an environment I feel comfortable in. I want to build a relationship with a staff and see what it's all about." will continue to have updates on Matt Miller throughout his senior season
