Lady Broncos Shock Washington State 68-64

The magic continues for the Boise State women's basketball team. Fresh off a win over the host UNLV Rebels, Boise State upset Washington State 68-64 to win the Rebel Round-Up Tournament.

Boise State's women's basketball team fought back from a first-half deficit to capture the UNLV Rebel Round-Up Tournament tonight in Las Vegas with a 68-64 victory over Washington State.

Tasha Harris led the Broncos with 23 points and nine rebounds while Jessica Van Hooken added 18. The Broncos were behind nearly the entire first half, but cut an eight-point deficit to one (30-29) at the half.

Boise State took an eight point lead of their own in the second half but WSU cut the lead to one at 65-64 on a three-pointer with 45 seconds remaning. The Broncos were able to hold on for the win.

Sophomore April Cook scored 19 and KiKi Moore added 18 to pace Washington State, which fell to 2-3 on the season. Jazmine Perkins had a career-high 13 rebounds for the Cougar women.

Boise State moves to a perfect 7-0 and faces Oregon next week.
