Broncos Win The Fiesta Bowl.. Again

Boise State used a dominating defense and a well executed fake punt to pull out a hard fought 17-10 win over #3 TCU in Glendale in the 2010 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

It may not have been the offensive showcase Bronco fans are used to, but they'll take it.

On a night that featured the showown of the NCAA's Top Offense against the Top Defense, it was Boise State's defense that stole the show, and ultimately won the game.

Bronco Cornerback Brandyn Thompson spent the year being picked on as teams avoided Kyle Wilson, but he turned the tables tonight, getting 2 INT's and returning the first for a TD that gave the Broncos the lead early in the game.

The rest of the Bronco defenders swarmed all night, knocking down numerous passes, pressuring TCU's QB, and holding TCU to over 200 yards under their rushing average.

Now Boise State is a lock to finish the season in the Top-5 once again, and sets itself up for a National Championship run next season as the Broncos graduate only 1 player in the 2-deep on both Offense and Defense.
