Jeremy Ioane: Boise State is 'Comfortable'

Punahou School ATH Jeremy Ioane (Honolulu, HI) has seen his stock rise more and more over the past couple months. Ioane visited Boise State in December and just recently had an in-home visit with a Bronco coach. Did that put Boise State over the top? He spoke to BroncoCountry.com about his recent in-home visit with Boise State.

Punahou School ATH Jeremy Ioane (Honolulu, HI) has seen his stock rise more and more over the past few months. Ioane visited Boise State in December and a certain Bronco coach went straight from Glendale, AZ to visit Jeremy and his family following the Fiesta Bowl victory. "Coach Wilcox came for a visit," he said. "It made me feel special. He didn't even go home first," he added.

Defensive Coordinator Justin Wilcox spent about six hours with Jeremy and his family on Wednesday. He let Ioane (5'10, 175, 4.54) know that he is a priority in the 2010 recruiting class for Boise State. "He likes the way I'm feisty and my play on the field," he stated. "He told me I have a natural flow to the ball in terms of finding it. I can really relate to Coach Wilcox. I have that comfort level with him."

The Bronco defense put on a show in the Fiesta Bowl on Monday night. The intensity of the Boise State defense grabbed Jeremy's attention. "The defense was real disciplined and everyone did their role," Ioane said. "I just like how everyone flies to the ball."

The family atmosphere at Boise State is working in the Broncos favor once again. That's just the type of program that fits Ioane's style. "I'm kind of leaning to Boise right now. Like I said, they make me feel comfortable. They seem family oriented and I have a real comfort level with the coaches."

Two more official visits are on the horizon for the standout ATH. He plans on making his final decision following those two visits. "I'm planning on visiting Washington next week (this past weekend) and Arkansas the following week (this coming weekend)," he said.

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Jeremy Ioane.
