Lady Broncos Host Hawai'i Saturday Night

Tasha Harris leads the Boise State women's basketball team into a much-needed game against Hawai'i Saturday night at Taco Bell Arena in Boise .  The Broncos are fresh off a 75-53 pasting of San Jose State Wesnesday night.

Harris paces the team with 16.7 points a game, third in the Western Athletic Conference .  The senior guard also is second in the league with 3.3 assists a contest and pulls down nearly six rebounds a game.  Harris is second all-time at Boise State with 1,567 career points.

The game follows the Boise State Fan Fiesta, which acknowledges Bronco fan support for the 2010 Fiesta Bowl Champion football team.  The Fan Fiesta gets underway at 3 p.m. with the Bronco-Rainbow Wahine game at 7.

Keisha Kanekoa leads Hawai'i with 10.6 points a game but Breanna Arbuckle will also be a factor with 8.5 points and six rebounds a game.

Boise State is 12-6 on the season but just 1-3 in Western Athletic Conference play.  The time for the Lady Broncos to get it in gear is now.  Hawai'i is 8-11 overall and 2-4 in the WAC .
