Interest Picking Up For California LB

Temecula Valley HS LB Adam Pulsipher (Temecula, CA) recently sent out his junior film and interest has picked up steadily since that time. Currently, he's going through rigorous workouts with his teammates as they hope to improve their record in 2010. Pulsipher spoke to BroncoCountry.com about his interest in Boise State and his recruitment thus far.

Temecula Valley HS LB Adam Pulsipher (Temecula, CA) recently sent out his junior film and interest has picked up steadily since that time. "I sent my junior film out around the first of the year," he said. "I sent it to Boise State, BYU, Oregon State, USC, Oregon, San Diego State, Stanford, and Washington," he added.

Currently, BYU is showing the most interest and Pulsipher couldn't be happier since he also happens to be LDS. "My brother is actually a walk-on at BYU," he said. "I like Coach (Bronco) Mendenhall's priorities. It's family, school, friends, and then football. He says to take care of those first."

Adam has also been in contact with Boise State's (Director of Football Operations) Viliami Tuivai. "Boise State has sent me some mail," Pulsipher stated. "Me and Coach Tuivai have emailed each other back and forth a few times."

Pulsipher (6'2, 215, 4.7) is projected to play LB on the next level and watching the Bronco defense the past couple years has peaked his interest. "Boise State is exciting," he said. "They look like they have a blast playing football and they've been winning for the past few years. Their defense was real tough against TCU."

Last season, Temecula Valley struggled as they finished with a record of 1-9. Pulsipher hopes better off-season preparation will result in more victories in 2010. "We struggled as a team last year," he said. "We're having workouts for our team right now at 5:45 am from Tuesday through Friday. I also drive down to Atlantic Quest Ten four days a week in San Diego. They train a lot of San Diego's pro athletes," he added.

Last season, Pulsipher racked up 143 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 INT. He's a strong student academically as he carries a 4.2 GPA and a score of 1760 on the SAT.

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Adam Pulsipher.
