Falo Sees Stock Soar

Inderkum HS DT Nathan Falo (Sacramento, CA) is becoming a hot commodity. He already has picked up 3 offers and it looks like more could be on the way in the near future. Recently, Falo got a visit from the Bronco coaches as they are out on the road recruiting and looking for more talent to bring to The Blue. Falo spoke to BroncoCountry about his interest in Boise State and his recruitment so far.

Inderkum HS DT Nathan Falo (Sacramento, CA) is quickly becoming a hot commodity as he already has picked up three offers and it looks like more could be on the way in the near future. "Washington State, Oregon State, and Cal Poly have offered me," he said. "I think I'm close to getting a few more," he added.

The standout DT is also receiving strong interest from Boise State, UCLA, and Washington. Recently, two Bronco coaches stopped by at Inderkum HS and spoke to Falo. "Chris Petersen and Jeff Choate came down to talk to me," he stated. "They were asking me what type of line I'd like to play on, how school is going, and just wondering about my grades. I had a wonderful experience with them."

Falo (6'1, 305, 5.1) has taken notice of Boise State's winning ways. "I like how Boise State wins championships and they are always good," he said. "They look like they have a good program and Chris Petersen is a good coach. They have a real good defense too."

Nathan is also an outstanding O-lineman and the Bronco coaches think he would be a good fit at center. "They were talking to me about playing center," he said. "They said I could play wherever I fit at best."

Last season, Falo and his teammates at Inderkum had an unbelievable season as they finished with a record of 13-1. Nathan believes that one loss stands out since it came in the sectional championship. "We made it to the sectional championship and got upset," he said. "We took them lightly. Our goal is to go back next year and leave with a ring."

Last season, Nathan racked up 43 tackles and 1 sack at DT. He was mostly double-teamed so that allowed his teammates to pick up the slack. "I'm a good tackler," Falo said. "I'm a pretty quiet guy on the field. I do a great job of plugging up the middle and stopping the run," he added.
