Cosumnes Oaks HS DE Robert Ash (Elk Grove, CA) first appeared on the Bronco radar back in January and since that time he has pulled in a few offers. Now the standout DE is in the process of taking a few unofficial visits as he hopes to find the school that fits him best. "I have offers from Washington, Boise State, Washington State, and Cal Poly," he said. "I just took a visit to Oregon for their Junior Day last week," he added.

The visit to Oregon was a pleasant experience for Ash (6'3, 240, 4.89) as he got to check out some of the best facilities in the country. "Their facilities were mind blowing," he stated. "It was amazing. We got to watch them practice and see their new academic center. It was a fun trip."

Robert's next unofficial visit is coming up soon. He will be in Boise for the annual Blue and Orange Game at Bronco Stadium. "I'll be in Boise next week for their spring game," Ash said. "I'm really looking forward to it. I'm going to pay attention to how the team plays together and interacts on the field. I want to see how competitive they are and how hard they practice."

Ash currently holds a verbal offer from Boise State and Special Teams/Linebackers Coach Jeff Choate mentioned that he could be heading back to Elk Grove with a little something extra. "I spoke to Coach Choate the other day," he said. "He's a real funny guy. He told me I was going to get a late Easter present."

Robert will make a return trip to Boise this summer as he and his teammates at Cosumnes Oaks will take part in the Bronco Football Camp on The Blue. "I'm looking forward to going to that too," he said in reference to the camp. "I know it's going to be tough because there's so much competition. I'm already getting ready for it," Ash added.
