Oregon SF To Transfer To Boise State

New Boise State Head Coach Leon Rice looks to be adding to his Bronco Basketball roster as reports from the Idaho Statesman and out of the University of Oregon campus have former Ducks SF Drew Wiley orally committing to transfer to Boise State for the fall of 2010. If accurate, Wiley would be the second new Bronco that Rice has brought in since his hiring on March 26th.

According to reports from the Idaho Statesman, former Oregon SF Drew Wiley will transfer to Boise State in the fall of 2010.

Wiley will be a Junior, but has a redshirt year available for when he has to sit the obligatory year after transferring from one D1 school to another.

Wiley was the Scout.com #21 ranked SF, (#2 on the West Coast), as a Senior. As a Junior, Wiley averaged nearly 25 points and 10 rebounds a game for McKenzie HS in Vida, Oregon.

At Oregon, Wiley played immediately as a true freshman, playing in 27 games, where he ranked second on the team in 3-point percentage (.389) and was fourth in both 3-pointers attempted (72) and fourth in 3-pointers made (28).

Wiley had four double-digit scoring games for the Ducks with a season-high 18 points (6-of-10 on 3-pointers) in a road game against UCLA. He matched that effort against Arizona, going for 18 points 3 rbs, 2 assists and a steal
