The future Bronco told BroncoCountry that he would make will make the trek Boise for the annual spring game at Bronco Stadium. What was he interested seeing on the visit?

Vista HS WR Troy Ware (Vista, CA) signed with Boise State in February and has been working hard preparing for his arrival on campus ever since. When the future Bronco spoke with BroncoCountry last week before the game, he had plans to attend the annual spring game at Bronco Stadium. "I'm going to the spring game," he said. "I think I'll be coming up on Thursday," he added.

Troy (6'2, 170, 4.55) said he was planning on paying full attention to the action on the field. "I'm going to watch the WRs to see if I can learn anything," Ware said. "I'm going to watch the competition, the DBs, and the QBs too. The speed of the game is what I'll be looking for and how they interact with each other."

The standout WR recently received the playbook and has quickly grasped the basics of the offense. "I got the playbook. It's not too hard," he said. "I've pretty much got it down. We got it about a month ago and I've been studying it with my dad."

Recently, Boise State extended an offer to Stefan McClure. Ware and McClure helped turn the Vista program around and they happen to be good friends. What does Stefan bring to the field? "Stefan is a lock down corner," he stated. "He can shut down any receiver. He's good at press coverage and one-on-one coverage. It would be really great if we could get him."

Troy's father, Tim, knows all about the commitment that it takes to play college football at the D1 level. Tim Ware played WR at USC and has been preparing his son for his college career. "Me, my dad, and Stefan go lift in the mornings," he said. "I'm also running track. Me and my dad go throw the ball around on Saturdays and work on formations and footwork," he added.

As a senior, Ware hauled in 45 receptions for 650 yards and 6 TDs.
