Pleasant Valley HS OL Jordan Rigsbee (Chico, CA) recently visited Boise State and the Broncos further solidified their spot in his top two. Rigsbee is one of the top O-line prospects on the West Coast and it appears that Boise State will battle it out with a Pac-10 school for his services. "Cal and Boise State are definitely my two favorites," he said. "I plan on camping at both schools as well," he added.

Jordan and his family came away impressed following their visit to The Blue. "We got there on Friday, met Coach Petersen, and visited with a bunch of people on the academic side of the university. Coach Strausser introduced us to the whole O-line after lunch. They all seem like a bunch of good guys."

It appears that Boise State was fighting a bit of an uphill battle prior to Rigsbee's visit to The Blue. Meeting Head Coach Chris Petersen and seeing all that Boise State has to offer really made an impact on him and his family. "I wasn't sure where Boise State stood prior to the visit," he stated. "I feel like they have a real chance now. Coach Petersen seems like a real good guy. He genuinely cares for the program at Boise State and really likes the town."

It's no secret that Bronco football is king in Boise. The standout O-lineman got to see that firsthand on his visit. "The whole town is into Bronco football," he said. "There are no pro teams. Everywhere you go there's Boise State stuff. All I heard the whole visit was Go Broncos."

Jordan (6'5, 285) has a busy month coming up as he plans on camping at both Boise State and Cal. He wants to make his decision prior to his senior season and he believes he'll have a better understanding of where he wants to play his college ball following those two camps. "I'll have a better idea following the two camps," Rigsbee said. "I'll be able to spend some time with each O-line coach at the camp and then I feel like I should be able to make my decision from there," he added.
