Boise State 1 of 7 Top 15 Fixtures

Boise State is one of just seven college football teams in the nation that have finished in the Top 15 in six of the last eight years. Utah and Nebraska, which both recently accepted invitations to BCS Automatic Qualifying conferences, have 2 and 1 top 15 finish(es), respectively.

Boise State 's football team is one of just seven elite teams in the nation to finish in the Top 15 of the USA Today Coaches Poll in six of the last eight years.

The Broncos finished #12 in 2002, #15 in 2003, #13 in 2004, #6 in 2006, #13 in 2008 and #4 in 2009.   Texas leads the elite list with a perfect eight finishes in the Top 15, while Ohio State and USC have seven finishes in the Top 15.   Georgia , Oklahoma and Virginia Tech are tied with Boise State with six finishes.

Boise State recently became the 10th member of the Mountain West Conference.   Utah , which has two Top 15 finishes in the last eight years, recently joined the Pac-10 Conference.   Nebraska , which owns one Top 15 finish in the last eight years, accepted an invitation to join the Big 10 Conference.

Boise State finished the season 14-0 as one of only two undefeated teams in the nation last year.  The Broncos downed #3 TCU 17-10 in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl.  The Horned Frogs have three finishes in the Top 15—2005, 2008 and 2009.
