Chasing Records

As the 2010 season progresses, some longtime school records at Boise State are very much in jeopardy. This handy guide gives you something to check their progress.

Several Top 10 lists and some long-standing records are being threatened by members of the Boise State football team.   Here is a breakdown of the impact the 2010 Boise State football team can have on the existing school record book.

 

Kyle Brotzman:

Ø      can break the all-time NCAA record for scoring with 121 points this season.

Ø      needs 84 points to break the school record held by Brock Forsey.

Ø      needs 4 field goals to break Mike Black's school record of 51 career FG's.

Ø      needs 49 extra points to break the school record for career PAT's.

 

Kellen Moore:

Ø      can move into the top 10 of all-time in wins by a college quarterback with 10 wins this season and into third place all-time with 13 wins.

Ø      can break the school record for passing yards at Boise State with 3,031 this season.

Ø      can break the school record for career touchdown passes with 19 TD throws this season.

Ø      can break the school record for career games with over 200 yards passing with 7 such games this season.

Ø      can break the school record for career completions with 123 completions this year.

Ø      can break the school record for career passing attempts with 346 attempts this season.

Ø      can move into 3rd all-time in total offense with 3,002 total yards this season.

 

Jeremy Avery:

Ø      can tie Chris Thomas for 4th place all-time in career rushing with 1,000 yards this season.

Ø      can move into the top 5 at Boise State with five 100-yard rushing games.

Ø      can move into the top 5 with 1,413 all-purpose yards this season.

Ø      can move into the all-time top 10 with 5 rushing touchdowns.

 

 

Austin Pettis:

Ø      can break the all-time career receiving touchdowns record with two this season.

Ø      needs 37 catches to break Don Hutt's 38 year-old record for career receptions.

Ø      can break the school record for career receiving yards with 865.

Ø      can move into the all-time top 5 with 3 games of over 100 receiving yards.

Ø      can move into the all-time top 10 in career scoring with 47 points this season.

 

Titus Young:

Ø      needs 57 receptions to break the school record for career catches.

Ø      can break the school record for career receiving yards with 904.

Ø      can break the school record for career receiving touchdowns with 15.

Ø      can move into the all-time top 10 in career scoring with 71 points.

 

Ryan Winterswyk:

Ø      Can move into 2nd all-time in career sacks with 13 this season.

 

Brandyn Thompson:

Ø      Needs five interceptions to move into the all-time top five for career picks.

Ø      Needs 67 yards on interception returns to move into the top 10.

 

Billy Winn:

Ø      Can tie his coach Pete Kwiatkowski (and Colt Brooks ) for 10th all-time with 6.5 sacks

Ø      Can move into the all-time top 10 in tackles for loss with 11 this season.
