Bellevue HS OL Marcus Henry (Bellevue, WA) visited Boise State recently and the Broncos solidified themselves as the team to beat for his services. This marked Henry's second visit to The Blue as he was also in attendance at the Boise State Football Camp earlier this summer. "I was very impressed," he said. "I got to see much more of the campus and facilities on this visit. Boise State is definitely still my leader," he added.

Marcus got to spend some one-on-one time with OL Coach Chris Strausser and Head Coach Chris Petersen. Both coaches made a solid impression on Marcus and his dad. "Coach Strausser kind of went over his philosophy and answered any questions I had," Henry said. "Coach Petersen went over his philosophy at Boise State and why I should go there. It was kind of overwhelming. He doesn't brag or anything like that and told me why Boise would be a good fit for me. My dad liked him a lot."

The talented O-lineman had the opportunity to watch the Broncos practice and he was amazed at the level of efficiency so early in fall camp. "I was impressed. The level of play was amazing and they are already really crisp," he stated. "There was such a fast tempo. I loved that."

Bellevue starts two-a-days on August 18th. Marcus (6'3, 275, 4.96) and his teammates are gearing up for another run at the state championship. "What I want to accomplish during two-a-days is to make sure we have the fundamentals down. You can't play football without them," he said. "I'm lifting a lot right now and working with a trainer for explosiveness. I'm hoping to improve on my explosiveness and quickness," he added.
