Bellevue HS OL Marcus Henry (Bellevue, WA) visited Boise a couple weeks ago as he toured the Boise State campus and facilities. The Broncos held a strong lead going into the visit and they closed the deal last Monday night as Henry committed to Boise State. "I called Coach Gregory last night (Monday) and spoke to him," he said. "I told him I wanted to be a Bronco and he put me on with Coach Petersen. They told me they were all excited and that I made their week," he added.

The future Bronco came close to committing while on the visit. "I really wanted to commit while on the visit since I was so impressed with the program," he stated. "My dad told me to wait a little bit just to make sure. I've been thinking about it for a while now and it just seems like the perfect fit for me. I just wanted to be 100% sure."

Henry felt comfortable with O-Line Coach Chris Strausser and his philosophy. He feels his coaching style will get the most out of him as a player. "I think Coach Strausser's style will get the most out of me as a player and that was a big deciding factor. He's calm and level headed when he coaches," Henry said. "He just doesn't yell at you for no reason. That style will get the most out of me."

Two-a-days are on the horizon for Marcus (6'3, 275, 4.96) and his teammates. That means football season is just around the corner. "We're getting ready for two-a-days," he said. "Everyone is excited to get ready for Skyline. We want to continue to perfect our techniques and we've done that already for the most part. We already know our plays and everything," he added.

What can Bronco fans expect to see from Henry? "I give 100% and I always finish my blocks," he said.

The talented O-lineman also had an offer from Army and drew interest from Arizona State, Washington, Oregon, Washington State, and UCLA.
