Florida state travels to Boston College Friday night to take on the Eagles in their first Atlantic Coast Conference matchup of the season.
This will be Boston College’s first real test this year coming off relatively easy wins against Maine and Howard. If Boston college wants to win this game their defense will have to put pressure on Florida State quarter back Everett Golson and slow down down this high powered offense.
Everett Golson has started the season off strong again this year completing 64.7 percent of his passes for 465 yards and five touchdowns. The Eagles will also have to worry about Florida States sophomore running back Dalvin Cook who is coming off of a 266 yard three touchdown game against South Florida last week.
Florida State's offense is very dynamic, but if Boston College slows them down and forces turnovers they will give themselves a good chance to win Friday night. Sophomore quarterback Darious Wade will see his first strong defense this season and he will have to perform well to give his team a chance. The young offensive line of Boston College will have to give Wade time in the pocket to show off his arm and open holes up for their plethora of runningbacks to find open space.
