Raji Lists Top Three

Corey Raji has family ties to Boston College. Does that put the Eagles in his top three?

Corey Raji, according to a source, visited the St. John's Red Storm on Thursday. The Westwood (N.J.) High star turned in a big time performance at the Eddie Griffin Challenge last weekend when he went for 17 points and 9 rebounds in the 2007 game.

Following the game, Raji rattled off a top three of Boston College, Virginia and Maryland. He's very interested in St. John's, Seton Hall and Miami.

His brother B.J. is a defensive lineman at Boston College.

"I'm really looking for a school with good academics and a good basketball program. A good environment too," Raji said in a previous interview.

Last season at Westwood HS Corey averaged 26 points and 19 rebounds per game; he stated that his goal for 2006 was to score 1000 points.

Raji is rated a four-star prospect in the class of 2007 by Scout.com. He has not expressed any timetable for his decision.
