Canadian offensive tackle David Knevel (Brantford, Ontario/Pauline Johnson) made his third official visit this past weekend to West Virginia. Despite the loss the Mountaineers sustained against Kansas State this massive 6-foot-8 and 295-pounder came home impressed with what he saw in Morgantown.

"What impressed me the most was the energy of the fans," said Knevel via email. "Even when it was clear they wouldn't come out with a "W", the fans stuck by and were supportive till the end."

Knevel has previously visited Purdue and Nebraska. He will return to Lincoln next month and has set one more official visit while working on another.

"I have confirmed an unofficial visit back to Nebraska the weekend of November 9-11th for the Penn State game," Knevel said. "Following that I will be in Madison, Wisconsin (11-17) for an official visit with the Badgers when they play Ohio State. I'm talking with Washington State about visiting for the November 23rd game."

Knevel is a three-star prospect and the No. 96 ranked offensive tackle in the nation.
