Visits, Offers Piling Up for Chiozza

Chris Chiozza (TN) has seen his recruitment blow up in the past few weeks and that continued with two big offers on Tuesday.

Class of 2014 guard Chris Chiozza has played extremely well in his first AAU tournaments of the spring and coaches have taken notice.

The quick floor-general from White Station (TN) High School recently picked up two major offers.

"I was offered by Tennessee and USC yesterday," Chiozza said.

Tennessee and USC join Ole Miss, Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth and a few others on Chiozza's offer list.

Chiozza is expecting a few more visitors in Memphis on Wednesday. Coaches from Florida and Butler will be making the trip, including Head Coach Brad Stevens.

The 5-foot 11 point guard does expect to get another offer during those visits.

"Yes, I think Butler is going to offer," Chiozza said. "I talked to Coach Stevens on the phone and he said how excited he was to visit me tomorrow."

Up next for Team Thad and Chiozza is a trip to Biloxi, MS and the Gulf Coast Hoops Fester, where Chiozza said he expects to see Butler following him as well.
