Fowler Adds Another Offer

Nate Fowler, Moeller (OH) High School, had been getting interest from a number of programs around the midwest and after having offers from the ACC, Big 12 and Atlantic 10 added an offer from the Big East.

Butler has started to offer a number of prospects in the Class of 2015 and it continued on Monday with an offer to Nate Fowler of Moeller (OH) High School in Cincinnati.

Just a day after offering 6-foot 10 center Derrik Smits from Zionsville (IN) HS, Butler offered the 6-foot 9 Ohio native.

Fowler had previously been offered by Dayton, Miami (FL), and West Virginia, while receiving interest from the likes of Michigan, Xavier, Ohio State, and Notre Dame.

Last season Fowler averaged 7.3 points, 7 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks per game in 26 games while leading Moeller to a record of 23-3 and a District Finals appearance.

Fowler plays with the King James Shooting Stars and another Butler target Luke Kennard, Franklin (OH) High School.

Butler has focused on size with three of its first offers in 2015. Smits and Fowler are true centers, while Malcolm Evans, from Jackson, MS, is an extremely long shooting guard/wing.
