Part 1 - Off the Court

IDP: When do you arrive on campus? When do classes start? What class are you most excited about?

MV: My classes start June 24th I'm taking an art class and a world geography course. I'm looking forward to both of them.

IDP: Who are you rooming with?

MV: I am rooming with Rene Castro.

IDP: What parts of campus are you most excited about exploring?

MV: I'm looking forward to exploring the whole campus. I love how it's a smaller school. That was a big factor in my decision.

IDP: What are you looking forward to most about living in Ross Hall? Least excited about?

MV: The opportunity to meet all the other incoming freshman. I'm not looking forward to sharing bathrooms with everyone on my floor.

IDP: What are you going to miss most from your hometown?

MV: My brother is going to IU, so that's gonna be a big difference for me. We've ways been together so that's gonna be tough.

IDP: What are your "must-have" items for your dorm room?

MV: A TV for sure is most important.

IDP: What is the last song that you played on your itunes (iPhone/iPod)?

MV: Poetic Justice (Kendrick Lamar ft. Drake)

IDP: Describe your personality for the fans to get to know you better.

MV: Somewhat laid back and enjoys having fun.

IDP: Name one talent you have that is not related to basketball?

MV: Before quitting football and just playing basketball, I was the starting tailback for an undefeated team.
