Butler to Host Price

Butler has been looking for a center to replace Andrew Smith and they may have found someone to fill his shoes in Louisville transfer Zach Price.

Butler has been on the lookout for impact transfers and they may have found one from defending National Champion Louisville

After seeing minimal playing time last season behind Gorgui Dieng, junior-to-be center Zach Price is looking for a place to get playing time.

Price, who will have to sit out next season while red-shirting, will have two season of eligibility left starting in 2014.

The 6-foot 10, 250 pound center has already visited Purdue today and went to Dayton last week.

Price has some familiarity with the Butler roster. He played on the same team as incoming freshman Elijah Brown when they were both at St. Edwards (OH) High School in the Cleveland area.

Price then transferred to Jeffersontown (KY) High School for his senior season before enrolling at Louisville and Brown headed out to California and Mater Dei.
