Trevon Bluiett has finally begun the process of making his decision. The Indianapolis (IN) Park Tudor guard narrowed his list to just seven schools today.
The 6-foot 5 wing would like to make a decision in the early signing period and this is the first step. Bluiett has had an impressive spring and early summer showcasing his dynamic scoring ability. He is aggressive attacking the rim, gets to the free-throw line, and has a very good jump shot with range to the three-point line.
Bluiett showed well at all the EYBL events, especially the Peach Jam Finals where he averaged 21.8 points per game for Spiece Indy Heat. Then, instead of taking a few weeks off, Bluiett went off to play for Indiana Elite in a couple events including Super64 in Vegas. He will head to Adidas Nations August 1st-5th.
Coach Brandon Miller and Butler will now look to close the deal and build their first class in the newly formed Big East. They have their sights set high for the class of 2014. They are currently in the top 4 for Indianapolis (IN) Tech power forward Trey Lyles, are high on 3-star rising forward Kelan Martin's, Louisville (KY) Ballard, list, and still have their sights set on another 4-star guard in either Riley LaChance and J.P. Macura, Lakeville (MN) North.
Butler currently has one commitment from 3-star center/forward Tyler Wideman of Saint Johns (IN) Lake Central.
