2012-13 Season in Review: Kampen did not see many minutes as a walk-on last season. The year before, Kampen saw a few minutes of game action in the Horizon League, where he tallied 6 points and a total of 40 minutes. With the move to the Atlantic 10, Kampen's minutes were limited to end of game situations in 2012-13.

Kampen appeared in 11 games last season for Butler accumulating just 12 minutes on the court. His best game last season was during a 4 minute appearance against IUPUI where he collected 1 rebound.

2013-14 Season Preview: This season will look similar to last for Kampen, who's main role is to help during preparation while at practice. Very rarely do you see walk-on's make an impact like Alex Barlow did over the past year, but anything is possible.

With a couple of guards in the freshman class, including Rene Castro and Elijah Brown, Kampen will see his main impact once again in practice and at the end of games that have already been decided.
