Players to Watch

Andrew Chrabascz - The freshman forward continues to get more minutes for coach Miller. The 6-foot 7 forward is averaging 15.5 minutes off the bench for Butler and scoring 4.8 points and grabbing 3.1 rebounds per game. He continues to make smart, hustle plays for Butler. Butler needs a consistent spark off the bench offensively and Chrabascz has been consistent over the past month.

Kellen Dunham - The sophomore guard continues his impressive 2nd season in Indianapolis. Dunham is averaging 18.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game for the Bulldogs. He is also shooting an imprssive 39.6% from the field including 37.9% from three.

Kameron Woods - After leading the Big East in rebounding and nearly touching double digits per game, Woods has had two smaller rebounding totals in the past two games. The junior forward is still averaging 9.5 rebounds to go along with his 8.9 points per game, but will need to have another big game on the glass for Butler to have success on the road.

Sterling Gibbs - The sophomore guard is leading the Pirates in scoring at 15.1 points per game and also assists at 4.4 per game. The offense runs through the New Jersey native who doesn't depend on his three point shooting for offense. Gibbs gets to the free throw line almost 9 times per game connecting on 77.6%. His ability to get to the line shows his aggressiveness at attacking the basket.

Fuquan Edwin - The senior forward from Paterson, NJ is 2nd on the team in scoring at 13.7 points per game. Edwin is shooting 45.3% from the field including 36.7% from three. He scores in a variety of ways and is also averaging a Big East best 2.9 steals per game on the defensive end with his long reach and anticipation.

Gene Teague - The starting center for the Pirates is averaging 10.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. The 6-foot 9 forward can be a lot to handle in the paint at nearly 270 pounds. Teague is shooting 60.2% from the field but struggles at the free throw line shooting just 59.3%.

Keys to the Game

Barlow vs Gibbs - Barlow is the Bulldogs best perimeter defender and should be matched up with Gibbs for most of the night. The quickness of Barlow's feet will be tested. Barlow has also had a tendency to get in foul trouble this season, which could come to fruition again against Gibbs and the Pirates.

Rebound - Butler has struggled in recent games on the glass and that needs to improve to grab a win on the road against Seton Hall. The Pirates have a few big bodies that can be a handful on the glass. Butler had just 3 offensive rebounds against St. John's while they gave up 10 to the Red Storm in getting out rebounded handily. Whoever has the advantage on the glass will most likely have an advantage on the scoreboard.

Field Goal Percentage - Butler has had a difficult time stopping teams from shooting a high percentage from the floor this season. To compound the problem, Butler is shooting just 43.8% from the field which ranks 8th in the Big East. Seton Hall is shooting 45.6% from the field for the season, ranking 5th in the Big East.
